Angel wings

It's the little things...
sunlight catching angel wings
moonstone sparkling on my skin...
but what would really make me sing..
just a little thing
like a nice big lottery win;)

Illustration Fridays topic this week is Little Things.
I'm using up my artistic licence here posting these ceramic Angel wings I've made but they are what I'm working on at the moment.

Those are awesome. How long does it take you do make one of those?

Thanks Ryan, the process is quite long winded, about three hours hands on sculpting in the raw clay stage, 16 hrs firing in the kiln, 1 hr glazing, more firing and another few hours putting them together but in all that there is drying time of the clay at different stages so if I started one today, it would take at least four days to be complete, which is why I've started painting instead:)

These are EXQUISITE, Janie, so delicate, so ethereal. The loving care with which these are put together really shines out from them.
