Caught this little crab spider defending it's territory or maybe even on the hunt for his dinner, apparently their venom is quite deadly if you happen to be knee high to a grasshopper!!

Great catch on that!!! I was at park standing at a tree and counting for 'hide and seek'...while examining the insects running all about I saw a young horsefly(?) land and 'spear' a gnat...it turned and you could see where it had 'stabbed' through the body...I was able to view it for several seconds before it took off...
