Ringtailed Lemurs

Just a few sketches I did today in my new Moleskine journal.
It's 19x25cm, a good sized page, and floppy and slim like your old school copy books.
The pages are the same glorious smooth cream paper that they have in the notebooks except that it is very light, very thin paper.
But oh so lovely to work with and fine for pencil sketches.
Nothing like a new sketch book and a couple of lemurs to get the creative juices going:)

Very nice sketches. I especially like the pose of the bottom sketch.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I love your Lemurs, Janie and I too think that bottom is wonderful. You could make a beautiful series of paintings out of these.

Hadn't thought of using those bigger Moleskines exercise books for sketching. I'm looking forward to seeing the book you've just folded yourself and what you are going to use it for.

Thanks m, scott and robyn, the last drawing is my favourite too, the last is usually the best, with me anyway. I've warmed up or something:)
