Sign of the times, Illustration Friday
The time being Summer Music Festival time.
This is a design for T-shirts for a music festival called Electric Picnic.
I'd love any feed back, good or bad,
....would you wear it...never in a million years....whatever, critics are welcome.
Do you think it should be on the front of the T-shirt or the back?

I think it should be on a post at the entrance to the festival !
Very cool! I think it should go on the front, with the name of the music festival dates etc on the back.
On the other hand, it is so eye-catching that maybe it should be on the back. I think I'd find it hard to maintain eye-contact with someone wearing this image on their chest...my eyes would be constantly slipping down to the image.
So, I am no help really! Anyway, it is great!
Thanks Rich,
thanks Nancy, very much appreciated, maybe I'll just do both and give people the choice.
great graphic design, simple and fun:)
Its great.... Is the person falling off the stage?
Well, he's stage diving backwards to surf the crowd of three!
If you take away the "crowd" your left with an original danger sign, so I guess it's kind of a visual pun.
duuh... thanks for the explanation... (im a jazz person... and they just dont do that) (wry smile) but... Im willin to learn!
Great idea Janie!
I think the image would look good on the back of the t-shirt (so the people outside the mosh pit can see it). You could print the design as a smaller blazer crest, if you wanted to put it on the front as well.
Cheers,
Richard.
A lot of people wear a t-shirt with an open shirt - so front of t is probably best option.
Great design!
Just thinking, re some of the questions being asked about the design here...
It might be nice to have a further hint... like maybe 'Dive In' written under it...
Or 'Live to Surf'
or...
:P
What a cool design! I like the idea of having it on the back of the shirt, nice and big so people can see it clearly. I'm sure it will sell really well.
very cool sign. Nice work!!!
