Island



Illustration Friday's topic this week is 'Island'
This is an old acrylic on board that I revamped in photoshop.
Below is an edgier version.
I think the top one has a sort of dreamy oasis feeling whereas the second one is like the aftermath of over population and pollution!

It's very cool, both pieces. The top one does have a dreamy, soft quality to it, but I like the bottom one too. I really like the colors and texture, very vivid and raw.

How fun to revamp a piece! The original is lovely. It reminds me of the island my husband and I honeymooned in. But I also like the second version, too. The contrast and textures are great!
